Description
The cut surface of the specimen shows several nodules of capillary tissue, greyish in colour and
with areas of haemorrhage; towards the right of the specimen there is a more homogeneous area
rather poorly defined. This specimen is not readily recognisable as thyroid tissue except perhaps
from the side.
